Circle awarded Mobile Innovation of the Year at National Technology Awards

We’ve won another award! Last night, Circle was awarded Mobile Innovation of the Year at the National Technology Awards, which were held at the Millennium Hotel in London, Mayfair. The NTAs are one of the biggest celebrations of the year for technology, bringing together pioneers of new technology to encourage and reward excellence within the industry.

Circle beat off some fantastic competitors, including Boosty, Mastercard, Receipt Tracker, Yoti, SGN, Ferratum Group and Worldreader to win the award. Speaking of the award win, Marieke Flament, Circle’s MD for Europe, said: “We are very excited to have been given such a prestigious award at this year’s NTAs. As Circle grows as an app and disruptor within fintech, we will continue to innovate competitively as a brand to further transform the payments industry.”

This year’s National Technology Awards were judged by a selection of hugely influential figures within the technology sector: Alistair Sergeant, CEO of Purple; David Gyori, CEO of Banking Reports; and Jude Ower, Founder and CEO of Playmob.
